Security, Risk Management and Investigations Courses Approved for Government Funding

Thank you for your support through 2010. I am happy to inform you that our company has been approved to provide Government funded training from the 1^st January 2011 through to 31^st December 2012.

This initiative is provided by the NSW Government in partnership with Commonwealth Government funding. It is important to take advantage of this opportunity before government funds have been allocated to training courses.

I would encourage you to complete application forms for the following approved qualification at your earliest opportunity.

Approved Qualifications are:

Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20207) – This covers both provisional licence training for entrants and workplace assessments for existing workers with 1A – Unarmed Guards, 1C – Crowd Controller, 1E- Monitoring Room Operators and 1G – Loss Prevention Officers.

Certificate III in Security Operations (CPP30407) – This covers both provision licence training for entrants and workplace assessment for existing workers with 1B – Body Guarding, 1D – Dog Handlers and 1F – Cash in Transit officers.

Certificate III in Investigative Services (CPP30607) – This covers both training and workplace assessment for entrants and existing workers. This course is suitable for persons involved in investigative work inclusive of Surveillance and Factual Investigations.

Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management (CPP40707) – This covers both training and workplace assessment for entrants and existing workers. This course is suitable for persons seeking a 2A – Security Consultant Licence. The course provides in-depth knowledge in Security and Risk Management Assessment and Plans for both government and private facilities.

Diploma in Security and Risk Management (CPP50607) – This covers both training and workplace assessment for entrants and existing workers. This course is suitable for persons seeking a 2A – Security Consultant Licence. The course provides in-depth knowledge in Security and Risk Management Assessment and Plans for both government and private facilities and provides applicants with a higher qualification. This course is ideal for existing workers currently employed as supervisors/managers in the security industry.

The Section on Senior First Aid has been updated with upcoming courses! Allegiance offers Senior First Aid courses over a 1-day format, and a special 2-day format in october. Courses run once a month. Special deals can be organised for large groups. Check out the Senior First Aid Section for dates and times.

Allegiance Training is running a Bodyguarding (Pre-Licence) course that commences on the 11th of August. This includes 11122S – Special Guarding and 11122B – Bodyguarding over 4days. It contains everything you need to become a bodyguard.

Static or Mobile Guard (Category 1A)
Crowd Controller – for licenced premises (Category 1C)
Bodyguard (Category 1B)

The courses GENERALLY run over three weeks. The first two weeks cover Category 1A/1C Licences – the third week covers the 1B licence.
