Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management – (PRS40103)
This course is suitable for security consultants, security managers, security master licence holders & security risk managers. It is designed for persons responsible for security in various sectors, such as retail, financial, government, military, medical & hospitality, who require skills necessary to evaluate security vulnerability and risk, and develop security risk management, industry-wide.
Student Selection Criteria for Certificate IV in Security (Risk Management)
Minimum entry requirement is Year 12 or equivalent or be mature age (20 years or older) and have at least two years full time work experience in security or management.

This course involves classroom attendance as well as home-based work activities on your own, to apply skills learnt to an assignment. Trainer mentor support is provided during this time. Nominal course duration depends on the individual.

Competency Based Training and Assessment looks at the skills, knowledge and attitude required for a certain task or position, and ensures the client’s competence is measured against the relevant industry competency standards or course learning outcomes and performance criteria.
Qualifications are issued in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework Standards.
Nominal Duration: 120 hours class attendance (The content is spread over a maximum of 8 months)
